Hotel Policies

CHECK IN / CHECK OUT Check-in can be as early as 1PM by agreement. Shortly before your arrival, the Innkeeper will contact you to agree a convenient time to check in. Check out is at 11:00 am.
Late check in policy: Check in after 7pm is only permitted by prior agreement with the Innkeeper.
Bag drop/early check in: We would be delighted to arrange an earlier check or bag drop, please to speak to the Innkeepers to arrange a suitable time.
Check out is at 11:00 am.

• We offer a strictly smoke-free inn and property.
• We are unable to accommodate guests' pets on the property. Please contact the Innkeepers for pet lodging recommendations.
• Use of hair color products, on-premises, strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to charge for replacements of towels, bathrobes and linen at replacement cost.
• Disregarding these policies will result in a minimum $200 cleaning fee.
• Use of spiral staircase is not recommended and is at your own risk & liability By booking your stay, you agree that Hexagon House will not be liable under any circumstances, should you choose to use it.
• Rooms are strictly single or double occupancy per room, per night. Bookings are non-transferable unless agreed with the Innkeeper prior to your stay.
• Rates do not include state and local room taxes
• Deposits of 50% of your package are required to secure your reservation.
• Two-night minimum stay applies to all rooms on weekends during mid-May to October.
• All rates are based on single or double occupancy
• Some weekends, special events and holidays may require a three-night stay. (Please contact us for details)
• Hexagon House is an Adult only property.
• "No calls" & "No shows" will be billed for 100% of the reservation / package

CANCELLATION AND NO-SHOWS
If a reservation is cancelled less than 14 days prior to arrival, you are responsible for ALL room and package charges for the entire reserved period. If a reservation is cancelled with prior notification of more than 14 days, you will receive a complete deposit refund (less a $35.00 processing fee). Weddings and whole-house rentals carry their own refund policy.
“No calls” & “No shows” will be billed for 100% of the reservation / package.
For multi room bookings and reservations for 4 nights plus there is a 30 day cancellation period before the first nights booking stay.
When all Hexagon House rooms are booked as one group booking, a 60 day cancellation period before the first night's stay is required.
Failure not to notify the Innkeeper to cancel before this time will result in a no deposit refund and the full charge for all rooms and nights booked will stop. This policy also applies to reducing your number of nights and/or rooms originally booked.

Key Calendar Holiday Dates
For July 4th, Homecoming & Labor Day weekends we require a 30 day cancellation period on bookings for these dates.
Multi Room Bookings:

• When one party or group book all Hexagon House rooms, it does not mean its an agreement to book the whole of The Hexagon House property and /or grounds. Only guests who have reserved a room may stay at the property. People invited by guests must be approved by the Innkeepers. Hexagon House is a small Inn and Bed & Breakfast. It is not an AIRBNB business.
• When we have a group booking for 5 rooms or more, due to increased time comstraints, there s an additional one off cleaning fee of $125.00 added to the overall reservation (in total).
  If you elect to purchase Travel Protection our 30 day cancellation policy still stands.

Rate Periods & Room nights and special holiday weekends

• Labor day weekend and July 4th Celebration weekends are 3 night bookings
• Cottage Rose Suite is always a 2 night booking- whatever the season or week/weekend
• Off Peak is Opening Season till Fathers Day weekend June 16th and after Labor Day weekend September 5th to close
• Peak is June 17th till September 5th inclusive
• All rooms except Cherub are minimum 2 nights week/weekend in peak season
• Cherub is available peak season as one nighter but is again always 2 nights at the weekend (Friday/Saturday)
• In Off Peak season Cherub, Homestead, Russell, Garden Room can be booked single nights in the week Sunday to Thursday inclusive
• The Innkeeper has sole rights to altering the above from 2 nights to one night, depending on business situation

Weddings:
Use of the Hexagon House and grounds for photography and wedding preparation is reserved for guests who have arranged and paid for a wedding package.
You can arrange to book a photography hour only (pictures in the grounds/house) if you are staying at the Hexagon House, at the cost of $150.00 plus tax.
Only registered guests are permitted to visit or use the property.
