ARTS AND ANTIQUES
Pentwater has an exceptional art scene for such a small village. A half dozen galleries offer painting, photography, and other creations by talented local artisans.
The Pentwater area is home to a handful of beautiful beaches. The Charles Mears State Park public beach is one of the finest white-sand beaches in all of Michigan.
BOATING AND MARINAS
Both Pentwater Lake and Lake Michigan make for a recreational boaters paradise, perfect for water skiing or jumping waves. Pentwater also offers three marinas.
The Pentwater region has farming roots, and guests will find numerous farmer’s markets throughout the area selling incredibly fresh, locally-grown produce.
Pentwater offers an inland lake, Lake Michigan, a connecting channel, and numerous local rivers. Fish from the pier or hire a charter, the choice is yours.
There are a half-dozen excellent, affordable golf courses within a 20 minute drive of Pentwater. Visitors will find relatively low traffic and very flexible tee times.
Downtown Pentwater is home to numerous boutique clothing stores, art galleries, antique shops, and other assorted businesses, perfect for afternoon shopping.
