The Hexagon House Bed & Breakfast was built in 1870 by S. E. Russell as a boarding house for lumbermen visiting Pentwater from Chicago and around the great lakes. Back then one could climb up into the cupola and see ships arriving out on Lake Michigan. Today, of course, the trees have reached a height where the lake is no longer visible. Only Pentwater Lake is still visible to the south along Russell Road. The Hexagon House has only changed hands six times since its construction and was completely restored in 1996 by Curt and Jan Warners. Together, they transformed this jewel of Pentwater into one of the premier inns to experience during your west Michigan travels. Under the present ownership of David Durham and Ed Farnham, the Hexagon House is again one of the area's most sought after destinations.

All guestrooms include a smoke-free environment, central air and heat, private baths and gourmet breakfast. Each of the guestrooms on the 2nd floor, offers a Queen size bed, TV/DVD player, CD/radio and entrance onto the porch. The 1st floor Cottage Rose Suite features something you will truly want - a King size bed, window seat overlooking the gardens and a Jacuzzi tub.
